Well, Hello! I'm Amber.

I paint wonder.

I've been a dancer, an actress, a traveler, and occasionally someone whose curiosity gets the better of her. I've ridden horses around the pyramids in Giza, performed on stages across the world from Greece to Minnesota, and collected a few stories along the way.

Becoming a painter wasn't exactly part of the plan.

I'm Amber Lee Olivier, and my paintings grow from a fascination with people, places, folklore, and the wonderfully unpredictable ways our lives unfold.

But here's what I love most about art: I might begin a painting with one story in mind, and you might see something entirely different.

A place you remember. Someone you miss. A possibility you haven't considered.

Neither of us is wrong.

And that's where the wonder begins.
