Collection: Don't Get Stuck In Your Head
This series came from a desire to speak things within me that I don't know how to say. It's an exploration of mental health, searching for ways to reveal what I've kept hidden as shameful or too dramatic. Learning that once revealed, others exhale with the relief they're not alone. This series is connected by a thought thread rather than tied together visually. Although they are visually very different from each other, together they tell a whole story of a person. We are multi-dimensional beings and our thoughts and emotions come in an array of shapes, colors and textures. Look from one to the next and see that there's a part of you that has felt or acted in a way that the painting depicts. My hope is that you feel the vulnerability and that one day you will be inspired to be that vulnerable.
