Ravenna, Italy is the city of mosaics, was the seat of Rome when Rome had fallen, the exiled Florentine Dante's death location… and one of the most charming seaside cities I’ve visited. While I was walking down the street away from Dante’s tomb, there was a mosaic’d bicycle on the mosaic sidewalk leaning against a mosaic wall. The graffiti (in English?) completed the whole image of what it is to be Italian.
